HJA bring you this stunning Series II R33 GT-R V-SPEC fresh in from Japan. We cannot stress how difficult it is to find good examples such as this, we have a team in Japan who are constantly scouting for only top end GTR’s for our stock. We check dozens of GT-R’s monthly and only pick a handful that meet HJA standards.
Without a shadow of a doubt the Skyline GT-R is the hottest model on the used car market right now. With record selling prices constantly being smashed, low mileage V-spec II Nur’s/M-spec Nurs regularly fetch £250,000+ auction hammer prices only (Excluding any import fees).
Rarer models such as the R34 Z-Tune are exchanging hands at eye-watering multimillion-pound figures.
We monitor the market very closely and we are now seeing a surge in R33 GT-R prices in Japan as these early models have now become U.S import legal.
Bodywork:
Walking around the car you can immediately tell it’s been a very well cared for example. It boasts all original panels & no accident history. The paintwork still has an amazing gloss & in practically unmarked condition, its very rare to find beautiful examples like this these days.
Chassis:
Its not just super clean on top; underneath must be seen to be appreciated quite hard to believe this cult classic is 26 years old as the condition puts most new cars to shame! Chassis is original factory condition, there are no rust issues that end up costing tens of thousands in restoration to rectify.
Performance:
Thanks to the tasteful mods the iconic RB26 engine pulls boisterously throughout the rev range without any hesitation pinning you back into your seat leaving you grinning from ear to ear. Gearbox is nice and fluent with no crunches. Handling is comfortable but also offers enough stiffness for hard cornering thanks to the Tein adjustable coilovers.
Another pleasant point to mention it also had a valid shaken before it left Japan; this means the car had passed the stringent Japanese testing which is a real testament to how well it has been maintained throughout the years.
The GT-R brand is now extremely sought after worldwide and is considered the next big thing in the burgeoning classic and performance car market. Overall if you are after a cherished lightly modified example to enjoy yourself, to be part of a collection or as an investment look no further.
