HJA bring you an exceptionally rare highly tuned R34 GT-R V-Spec masterpiece just in from Japan. If you are after a fully modified Beast from the East it really doesn’t get much better than this.
Fully built Nakane Racing Design Japan and used as their own demo car, so as you can imagine every top aftermarket part was thrown into the production of this extraordinary machine. This has to be one of the best all round road going modified R34’s currently for sale anywhere in the world.

This GT-R was built to showcase Nakane Racing Designs Company’s GT-R tuning prowess, taken across all of Japan for shows leaving jaws dropped wherever it went! We wouldn’t even like to hazard an amount we think Nakane racing must have spent on the car, but we’re quite sure it would easily surpass the asking price of the car in just parts alone.

NRD (Nakane racing design) removed the RB26DETT engine to install an N1 24U race block with Oversized HKS forged pistons increasing the displacement to spin the twin HKS GT2530 turbochargers, the HKS snails exit into the Nismo exhaust.
Breathing in through the intakes, the HKS GT2530 turbochargers blow into the HKS intercooler piping and Trust front-mount intercooler. Sharing space in the nose with a HKS oil cooler kit, the Trust unit helps keep the intake charge temperature well under control.

What makes this GT-R so special is the attention to detail such as the use of R31 Skyline RB20 cam covers treated to a red crinkle paint finish. These finned covers sit a tad lower than the stock ones and don’t cover the cam pulleys, so give a totally different look to the motor. Incorporated into the R31 inlet cam cover is the HKS vcam system which really goes to show how well thought out this project was.

The V-Cam system replaces the intake camshaft and allows the use of variable valve timing on the intake side whenever the system is activated. Interfacing with a HKS F-Con V Pro engine management system, the VCam system has been used by NRD to maximize the power band for more than just high-RPM use. With this setup the car has amazing response from low rpm not normally associated with the RB26.
The stock clutch has been changed out for a 600hp-ready ATS carbon clutch, which feeds into a ATS carbon limited-slip differentials which do an amazing job of transferring all that Torque to the Road.

The R34 sits on a set of Gunmetal 18×11J-inch Rays ZE40 11J wheels wrapped in 295-section of Dunlops . Tucked in behind the front wheels are 6-pot AP Racing callipers with adequately sized rotors, while the rear end features a 4-pot setup.

Being this heavily modified one may assume it’s an all out race car car, not quite! This is still fully road legal and can be driven on road without any drama and retains the full interior.

Talking about the interior NRD have installed their Custom leather interior package which really has to be seen to be fully appreciated. The seats, door cards, gear/handbrake gaiters have all been treated to a high quality leather retrim not to mention the carbon touches dotted around the cockpit.

The paintwork is in immaculate condition as is the underneath of the car. An array of highly sought after Nismo aero parts have been installed to not only set the car of aesthetically but also add to the aero dynamics of the car. Anyone that has seen Nismo parts close up can only appreciate the quality of their items.

With the rapidly increasing prices of the R34’s now is the best time to buy as prices are constantly on the increase. The huge worldwide demand for R34s have seen buying frenzy’s in Japan, to give you an example a low mileage R34 GTR V-spec II Nur just recently sold for over £130,000 before any shipping or Taxes! Another example would be an R34 GT-R Z-Tune has recently been put up for £420,000 which really goes to show how highly collectable the R34 GTR model has become.
With the way the prices are going we believe this would be a highly lucrative investment if you were to hang onto the car for a few years time, to give you an idea some R34s have increased in value up to 40-60% in the space of only 18months.
