If you are after a mind blowing FD in every way look no further. We believe this is the only FD in the world with this particular aero combination so a real chance to own something very unique.

Sitting low and wide, and polished to a mirror shine, this square-shouldered FD3S is a prime example of attention to detail. No matter where you look, you will find the sort of meticulous perfection that can only come from a passion bordering on obsession.

The car had to be widened to fit more aggressively offset wheels, Top fuel racing went to town on the aero with a whole array of carbon/FRP goodies. Allot of thought has gone into the aero, front end is all supported by aluminium lightweight bracing nothing short of race car standards.

He modified Mazda speed GTC front bumper and a set of custom wider side skirts, also a custom TFR mod, accompanied these. A lot of work went into blending in the rear fenders with the rest of the body, creating a seamless transition from metal to FRP.

We all know how well carbon fibre works both for performance and ascetics, so TFR went crazy with it! creating a very aggressive series of additions, like the front diffuser-slash-canards, which helps generate high levels of downforce at speed. The front RE fenders were then modified with a Super GT-like carbon profile and vents.

The carbon theme is completed at the rear with an RE Amemiya carbon diffuser, carbon vortex generators, as well Custom carbon rear wing with extra custom fender mounts, while the Enkei RPF1 18-inch wheels sit flush with the angular GT body, further adding to the purposeful and track-oriented look of the car.

Engine
The attention to detail continues under the hood with the side-ported 13B, capable of developing 500 hp at 16 psi of boost pressure. To achieve this level of power, TFR fitted a Trust TD07-25G turbine onto a Trust Racing exhaust manifold and also fabricated all the aluminium piping and end tanks for the V-mounted Greddy intercooler core.
Top fuels engine work included street porting and fitting the high-performance 3 piece apex seals on the FC rotors, with its current setup a compression ratio of 8.5:1 is achieved.

After lowering the car on adjustable Aragosta dampers, TFR spent some time to fine-tune the suspension geometry with Super Now tie-rod ends and pillowball links, items that add an immense amount of feel, not to mention tightening the chassis.
The welded in rollcage also increases chassis stiffness immensely, while the massive Brembo F50 front brakes with 2 piece rotors front and rear help decelerate this mental machine effortlessly.

There are plenty of gadgets to keep even the more tech-obsessed otaku out there happy, like the array of defi gauges, Apexi hand commander, HKS boost controller and circuit meter.

This RX7 is the work of an owner with a vision and an equally obsessed tuning shop, as only an obsessed and passionate owner could spend so much time fine-tuning and developing his pride and joy into what you see today.

We are not sure if we will ever come across an RX7 built to this level again, we can only hope. It’s a joy just having it sat in our showroom and we will be truly sad to see it go.
